Dental Implants Restore Oral Health and Happiness

Dental implants are considered the best solution to replace missing teeth as they mimic both function and appearance.

Implants are a long-term solution and typically last patients for the rest of their life with proper oral care. We are able to replace individual teeth, multiple teeth and even full arches of missing teeth with this effective replacement option. Choosing an oral surgeon to place your dental implants ensures improved success and longevity of the dental implant. Dr. William Lane has over 35 years of dental experience and places over 500 dental implants successfully each year.

At Lane Oral Surgery, our goal is to serve by inspiring wellness and to make everyone we come into contact with happier and healthier. For many patients, we can achieve this goal with dental implants. With proper care of your implants, gums and natural teeth, dental implants can last you the rest of your life. Our practice also features the SmileOn™ restoration, which allows us to replace an entire arch of missing teeth with a temporary bridge the same day as your surgery. After a short healing time, we can replace the temporary bridge with a permanent and final set of high-quality teeth. Most people will never know you were ever missing teeth to begin with!

Our Dental Implant Process

When placing dental implants in Plymouth, MA, we utilize state-of-the-art technology combined with advanced surgical experience to ensure successful and long-lasting results. Our process begins with an in-depth examination and consultation of your oral health and smile goals. We then perform a 3D CT scan using our digital cone beam scanner, which gives us detailed images of your jaw bone volume, location of tooth roots and nerves. If you have been missing teeth for some time or have suffered oral trauma, you may need bone grafting to restore adequate volume in order to support an implant. Once the bone has proper volume, your dental implant will then be placed into your jaw in the ideal location to look natural in your smile. After the dental implant has healed, your general dentist will be able to restore it with a lifelike dental crown so you can enjoy your natural and beautiful smile again.
