Jaw growth is a gradual process and in some instances, the upper and lower jaws may grow at different rates. This can result in problems that can affect chewing function, speech, and appearance.  Orthognathy surgery involves repositioning the jaws surgically to help align the teeth  and correct your bite.   Dr. Lane works with select orthodontists in the area.  All prospective patients must be referred and have a consultation to determine their candidacy for the surgery.
